Luxury watch pricing is transparent, but it’s also precise. Small details can move an offer meaningfully. Here’s what drives value in today’s market.
1) Reference and configuration
The exact model/reference, dial variant, bracelet type, and production era matter. Two watches that look similar can trade at very different levels.
2) Condition and originality
Original parts, clean case lines, and an honest dial matter. Over-polishing can reduce collector appeal. We inspect and explain what we see.
3) Box & papers
Not always required, but box/papers can increase liquidity and buyer confidence, especially for premium models.
4) Service history
A recent service can help. But “service” isn’t automatically positive if it involved replacement parts that reduce originality. We evaluate case-by-case.
